Attention Seniors:  The 2010 Financial Aid Workshop will be Tuesday, February 16, 2010 at 5:30 p.m. in the media center. Please encourage your parents to attend.  Representatives will be on site to help you with the financial aid process. 

Congratulations to Carla Summersett and Kim Cimney who recently received National Board Certification.

Florence Darlington Technical College will be here Tuesday, February 16th beginning at 5:30 pm to present students and parents with information on Dual Credit courses.  All interested sophomores and juniors need to report to the West Florence auditorium.

PowerSchool login's will be given to students on 9/30/09.  Parents must come to West Florence to get your login.

Congratulations to Carson & AJ!!!

Carson Summersett and Alexandria Jackson (AJ) sign papers to accept athletic scholarships at Francis Marion University and Northwestern State University.  Carson will play softball and AJ will play soccer.

Carson is the daughter of Mr. & Mrs. Jimmy Summersett.

AJ is the daughter of Mr. & Mrs. Alfonso Jackson. (12/4/09)

New   2010 FSD1 School  Calendar  

 

Tutoring Schedule  2009-2010

Tutoring is available before school and after school.   This service is free to all students!!

  Boyd Richardson, freshman, auditioned for the South Carolina All State Orchestra and was selected.  To be able to audition, he first had to audition for the Region Orchestra.  He was chosen with the third highest score of the day!  At the Region Orchestra Clinic, the students had to audition for seating.  Boyd earned the highest score of the evening giving him the concert master position.  Great job Boyd!
